Student Ministry

Nursery (birth-2years)

Our nursery is staffed on Sunday mornings during Sunday School and the worship hour. Sunday evenings the nursery is staffed for the 6:00 pm hour. At this time there is no nursery provided on Wednesday nights.

Children (3 years-5th grade)

Our children meet on Sunday Mornings at 9:30 am for Sunday School. They are currently using the Answers in Genesis Curriculum. We have a class for our preschool age children and also a class for 1st-5th grade.

During the 10:30 am worship service the children remain in the sanctuary with their families until a designated time, then they follow their weekly leaders to Children’s Church. Usually Children’s Church provides our children a time to deepen our knowledge of our Sunday School lesson, have a snack and do a craft. Children’s church is for preschool-5th grade.

On Sunday nights they meet at 6:00 pm for a time worship utilizing praise and worship music, videos and dance.

On Wednesday nights our children meet for Mission Friends and Children in Action. Both age groups spend this time learning about how to be a missionary. They also learn about service and how God is using missionaries all over the world to tell people about Him. We have so much fun participating in games and creating art that represents the areas of the world we are learning about.

Youth

Our Goal: We want to help students develop such a passion for Jesus and compassion for others that they don’t graduate from their faith when they graduate from our ministry.

Sundays

6:00 p.m. - Missions and Movement! One week we learn about missions and the next week we do some type of mission -outreach in our community!

There are many more opportunities to fulfill The Great mandate in ministry through this dynamic Sunday evening setup! This is not just another Bible study but a chance to put into action what we are being taught.

Wednesday Nights

5:30 p.m. - Game Time - This is an engaging time of fellowship with others. A chance to encourage each other and build a strong community through teamwork and fun loving competition! We play basketball, football, kickball, volley ball and many other activities!

6:00 p.m. - Youth Choir
Mrs. Pearson dynamically leads our Youth in choir practice each week. They sing contemporary praise and worship.

6:30 p.m. - Recharge
Pastor Ryan opens and exposes the students to biblical teaching from the scriptures! We deal with modern topics that our students face in today’s world and look for the truth from God’s words on those topics! Society is loud but not always right! If you are looking for an answer and truth, we want you here!
