Pastor Ryan Vaughan - Pastor

Pastor Ryan Vaughan serves as the Senior Pastor of Midway Baptist Church, where he is dedicated to preaching God’s Word, shepherding the congregation, and leading with a heart for discipleship. With a deep passion for ministry, Pastor Ryan strives to cultivate a Christ-centered community, encouraging spiritual growth and service. His commitment to biblical teaching and pastoral care reflects his desire to see lives transformed by the Gospel. Whether through dynamic preaching, personal connections, or community outreach, Pastor Ryan faithfully leads Midway Baptist Church in its mission to glorify God and share His love with others.

Brook Patterson - Interim Children and Youth Leader

Brook is the interim youth and children leader here at Midway. She is passionate about nurturing faith in the next generation. With over 12 years of experience in various church settings, She focuses on creating engaging programs that foster creativity, teamwork, and spiritual growth.

Brook holds a background in teaching and directing Sunday School. She is dedicated to ensuring every child and youth feels valued.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Bryan, their four children and spoiling her grand-dogs! Her family is very involved with our children and youth programs.

Sherri Daggerhart - Minister of Music

Sherri has been involved with church music from an early age- from being in children and youth choirs, accompanying those, being in adult choirs and accompanying those as well as church services. She has a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education from Furman University as well as a Masters+30 from USC and taught Elementary Musicfor 32 years. She has been church music director in churches in SC, NC, and KY. Sherri has been married to her husband, Gene, for 53 years. They have three married sons and one granddaughter.

Sonya Byars - Church Secretary

Serving as the church secretary for the last eight years has granted me the privilege of witnessing the beautiful tapestry of faith, and compassion here at Midway. Beyond the church, Sonya enjoys spending time with her three children and her three wonderful grandchildren.
